I grew up in both the Baptist and Episcopal Church bouncing back and forth. My parents came from two different backgrounds and we tried both as a family for many years. God really touched me at the age of 11 while in the Baptist Church. I gave my life to Christ and was baptized along with my Dad on Easter Day 1984. While growing up I wasn't very outspoken about my faith and love for Christ. I never wanted to really talk about it… I remember thinking God is not cool. WRONG! It’s so important for me now to express my faith in Christ with the young people I come in contact with!
God has really worked wonders in my life! He has opened so many doors for me both on and off the softball field. He has also sent people into my life at different times that have impacted me to this day. I know Gods plan for me was to share the love of Christ while teaching Fast Pitch Softball. He has used me to help young girls understand their walk with the Lord. Also, being a role model and a positive influence. God blessed my husband and I with two wonderful boys who are both miracles of the Lord!
God has so much more planned for me and I’m focused on doing His will!
